Scrapbooking Birthday Cards

What’s scrapbooking birthday cards? To me, it’s a matter of creating birthday cards in scrapbooking style.

I’m not even sure if there’s such a phrase. But I want people to know right away that this page is about birthday cardmaking using scrapbooking supplies, so I came up with that phrase. ;)

In recent years, there’s many scrapbookers who have started cardmaking by digging into their scrapbooking stash. In doing so, they also brought along with them their scrapbooking skills and apply these skills to making cards.

I’m one of those people. I started off with scrapbooking. Then months later, I realized I could easily use my scrapbook supplies to make birthday cards and cards for other occasions.

Looking at my scrapbook supplies, it’s so easy to see that they are mostly materials I could use for card making! Not only do I get to stretch my supplies further, I also have the chance to create cards using familiar products like cardstocks, patterned papers and embellishments to create cards with a strong scrapbooking influence.

If you’re a scrapbooker who wonder how you can make cards with your scrapbook stash, here’s the place to be.

I have a series of birthday cards below that I’ve made using my scrapbook supplies. You can see how easy it is to start scrapbooking birthday cards.
