Card Making Quick Steps

1) Create a cardblank with the green cardstock.

2) Cut out a block of patterned paper and adhere it to the cardblank.

3) Cut out a strip of yellow cardstock. Use a coin to draw semi-circles along the top and bottom edges. Cut out the semi-circles with scissors. Attach it to the top of the card as shown.

Doodle borders on the top and bottom using the black pen. Attach foam hearts to form the shapes as shown.

4) Cut out a small block of red cardstock and trim the corners with corner-rounder. Adhere it to the card.

Cut out a smaller block of brown cardstock. Handwrite greetings using the black pen. Attach a paper flower to the top right-hand corner with 3-D glue dot. Attach the completed brown cardstock to the red cardstock.

Card Supplies Used

  • Green cardstock from stash

  • Patterned paper - Brenda Pinnick by Paper Confections

  • Yellow, red and brown cardstock from paper scraps

  • Corner-rounder

  • Foam hearts from stash

  • Small paper flower from stash

  • Black pigment-ink pen
