By making your own card envelopes, you have the choice to match your envelopes to your birthday cards or other cards. In fact, you can use all those pretty patterned papers you've seen and turn them into gorgeous envelopes that's certain to catch the receiver's attention right away.
You can either use plain-colored papers or patterned papers to make your envelopes. But for a busy patterned paper, you might have to add an extra address label to write out your address details.
