Colorful Buntings Card
Here’s a very cute handmade birthday card idea you can apply in your next card making project. String a flag banner or bunting across your card to make a fun statement! It’s a great way to bring colors and good cheer to the birthday boy or girl.
I’ve been seeing bunting used in designs, scrapbooking and card making for awhile and I adore this idea. But I’ve yet to try it out myself till this card. I mean, flag banners swaying in the air is shouting celebration time! A wonderful idea for homemade birthday cards.
With my latest happy colored paper packs, I managed to choose and concoct up a cheery colorful scheme for my card. If you want to make your own birthday card, try out this idea and see how it instantly jazzes up your birthday card design.
I’ve used a mix of patterned paper from the “Sn@p! Color Vibe” 6×6 paper pad by Simple Stories. Then for the bottom colorful hexagon patterned paper, it’s from “So Happy Together” by Denna Rutter by Echo Park Paper Co. Paper from these two paper packs make me happy! And to have the chance to combine them together on one card was sheer fun.
By pulling inspiration from a few sources, you can quickly assemble a card design. The bunting idea, the inspiration from cheery paper pads, and a plain white base just hold these ideas together so well.
Not only that, you can repeat this card idea over and over again, varying the types and combinations of patterned paper used. And it’s not a time-consuming process to create this birthday card. For those times when you need a fun and easy card making idea, I would suggest you give this a go!
