I like to make my birthday cards using a particular interest or hobby the recipient may have in order to make the card more personal. I made this card for my sister-in-law. She loves to garden. And her birthday is in June. So rather than the traditional "Happy Birthday" card, I used a hobby she loves (gardening) as a reminder to "celebrate" the things she loves about her life.
Card Details:
I don't know the name of the papers used. I've had them for a while.
I printed the "seed packets" and colored them with colored pencils and markers.
I used a metal name for the word "celebrate" and painted it with green then brown paint for the Petina appearance. Then I used clear embossing powder and heated it for raised clear look.
The "dirt" is brown paper with a faint grid pattern. Torn and chalked. Then I used small pop dots and layered it for depth.
I used a flower punch for the clouds and adhered two together to make the shape of the larger one. Then colored them using chalk and blender pen.
Thank you very much for your birthday card. Your birthday card was very nice. I like that and I love that birthday card.
