50 Card Making Sketches eBook by Jennifer Gormly is a collection of 50 card making sketches that helps beginner to advanced cardmakers to create stunning handmade cards.

Why is a card sketch useful? A card sketch basically gives you a template/blueprint/map that you can follow along to coming up with card designs that work and saving you time.

We all wish we could create gorgeous and beautiful cards that impress everyone on a whim... But the truth is, not everyone has a keen eye to creating amazing card designs. Sometimes, we find ourselves staring at our creations and there's just something missing and we couldn't quite figure it out...

Let you in on a simple secret. Card sketches are the secret or formula to creating great and professional looking cards that'll impress both your family and friends!

Jennifer Gormly's card sketches eBook is a compilation of 15 square sketches, 15 horizontal sketches and 20 vertical sketches. Some of her fans have claimed that these are classic sketches that give them timeless looks. Even one sketch will allow you to create many cards from it. So fifty sketches will last you a long time.

Under her "One Sketch - Many Variations", Jennifer demonstrated how she came up with eigh different card designs based on one of her own sketches!

To help beginners get started, there's a section called "How to Use a Sketch" that shows you exactly how to break down a card sketch into its basic components to help you get the maximum results out of the sketch.

Not only does the eBook contains sketches, each sketch will have at least one sample card design that comes with step-by-step card making instructions and a list of materials used.

Note: 50 Card Making Sketches is an eBook (electronic book) which you can download to your computer as soon as you order. No postal /shipping fee.

50 card Making Sketches - My Experience

Let me share with you my personal experience in using this eBook. Since beginning 2010, I've not been making any cards for 10 months... Life got busy and there's other commitments and before I knew it, time rolled by and not a single card in sight for the year. Good thing I had amassed a little collection to use from my previous year card making efforts. I've been sluggish and it's time to get out some fresh cards!

So when I finally had the chance to make some cards, I found myself reaching for Jennifer's eBook to get myself inspired and into the cardmaking mood. It's been quite awhile and I had limited time, and I needed a surefire way to make some great looking cards in quick time.

After picking out a square card sketch (Card #5), in two hours I had three attractive-looking cards on hands. Time included pulling out all my supplies, selecting papers and embellishments, making the cards, storing the supplies away and clearing the mess away.

Two days later, I decided to test her sketches once more. This time, I chose a vertical sketch (Card #40) to try out. In about 1.5 hours, I had another 3 pretty cards. I would say time well-spent!

I suspect that without using these well-designed sketches, I would have taken a much longer time to create the cards or end up just making one or two cards at most in one session.
